Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial management, accounting, budgeting, grant compliance, statutory reporting, and FCRA compliance. The role requires strong experience in managing donor-funded projects, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines, Indian statutory regulations, and FCRA provisions while supporting organizational financial sustainability and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project’s budget related reports in line with donor requirements.
  • Ensure optimum fund utilization with respect to the budget outline.
  • Prepare financial reports for donors as per reporting schedules.
  • Track grant receivables and fund utilization.
  • Support proposal budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations, grant agreements, and procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with program teams for budget monitoring and financial planning.
  • Manage FCRA-designated bank accounts and related accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act and Rules.
  • Prepare and file annual FCRA returns and other statutory reports.
  • Maintain separate books of accounts for foreign contributions.
  • Monitor utilization of foreign funds according to approved objectives.
  • Maintain all documentation related to foreign contributions and donor compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable laws.
  • Coordinate timely filing of statutory returns.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, government departments, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor organizational and project budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance / MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Must have relevant GST-based knowledge.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts as well as donor-funded projects, or CSR-funded projects.
  • Hands-on experience in FCRA accounting and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Busy, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

Job Summary

The Rooftop Solar Installation Service Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, installation teams, vendors, and utility companies throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee rooftop solar installation projects from site survey to commissioning.
  • Ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and utility providers.
Technical Supervision
  • Review site assessments, system designs, and installation plans.
  • Supervise installation teams and ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
  • Ensure proper installation of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, wiring, and safety systems.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Team Leadership

  • Ensure prompt resolution of warranty and after-sales service issues.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare project progress reports and installation status updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service activities, and inventory.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project completion, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have hands-on experience of working on the PM Surya Ghar portal.
  • 3–7 years of experience in solar PV installation, project management, or field operations.
  • Experience managing rooftop solar projects and installation teams.
  • Knowledge of net metering, electrical systems, and solar PV technologies.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams to optimize loan recovery performance.
