About CDOT

Centre For Development Orientation and Training (CDOT) started in the year 2000 with the purpose to work for unreached community through meaningful intervention. Inclusive growth for the community is the driving force of CDOT. CDOT has been very focused to work for the development of unreached in effective and sustainable way. CDOT is a self-sustainable organization working in 8 states of India. CDOT mainly work in areas like Micro Credit, Financial Inclusion, Solar, Sanitation, Livelihood, Agriculture Development and skill training.
Our aim is to work for holistic development of the society. We took programmes, which has fitment into our vision, mission, knowledge and skill. The purpose is to deliver the best developmental services in most professional and organized manner. CDOT is a Society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. We are ISO: 9001:2015 certified and registered under 12A of IT Act and FCRA under Ministry of Home Affairs.

MR. RAKT RANJAN KALYAN
(Secretary Cum Executive Director)

Mr. R.R. Kalyan, has done Masters in Rural Development from XISS, has more than 25 years of experience in the field of development. His main areas of work are micro finance, rural innovation, rural financing, managing and building institutions. He has served many prestigious institutions in India. He has been one of the front faces of micro finance in Bihar. His work apart from finance has been banking, water and sanitation and training. He has designed many training programmes across different sectors. He has been widely exposed to many institutions and universities across India and abroad. He has been an innovator in setting the institutions, which is now serving 5.1 millions customers across India.

Mr. Ashish Prakash
(Director Operations )

Ashish Prakash holds a master degree in social work from Tata Institute of social sciences, Mumbai. He is accomplished and result driven professional with more than 7 years of experiences in social sector. He also possesses vast experience in project management and business development with sound knowledge of financial requirements and non-government organizations. Prior to CDOT, he was associated with Taru Leading Edge as DBT consultant in the department of finance, Government of Bihar where he was very instrumental in initiating the process of social registry platform for DBT Projects. Besides, he is also a qualified master trainer, facilitator and expert in intervention of community development programs. Now he works with CDOT as Director Operations and extends his support to the project management team in implementation of its programs across India.

Mr. Ravikant Bharti
(Senior Liaison Manager)

Ravi Kant Bharti is Senior Liaison Officer in CDOT. He is an MSW graduate from TISS, Mumbai, Later, He worked in the area of Rural Development with Panchayati Raj Institutions and Jal Jeewan Hariyali Mission.He also serves as Mission Manager with Bihar Vikash Mission comes under the Cabinet secretariat department, Government of Bihar, where he worked to ensure the implementation of Seven Nishchay for developed Bihar and programs of governance in mission mode. In Bihar Vikas Mission, His work is recognized in terms of strengthening the institutional arrangement and promoting modern and better work culture for faster and more effective implementation of schemes and programs. He was also instrumental in establishing effective public dialogue and receive public reactions and responses.He is a Social thinker and experienced professional with 9 years in the development sector. In CDOT, He ensures coordination with partners and business entities for the effective implementation of programs across the country. His major expertise lies in the field of Social Enterprise Development, Monitoring & Evaluation and Designing comprehensive business plan strategies.

Mr. Gautam Dey
(Finance)

Mr. Gautam Dey has done M.Com from Calcutta University and is a National Scholarship rank holder. He has an overall experience of over 20 years in accounts more than 4 years in the Finance department. He has worked with government and semi-government institutions. He is well versed in all the accounting package of India like PFMS and all the latest accounting and financial tools available in India.

Mr. Santosh Kumar
(Head- Financial Inclusion)

Mr. Santosh Kumar, Graduate started his career in microfinance. He has over 10 years of experience in micro finance and overall monitor the microfinance portfolio. He has done lot of work in enterprise financing, financing through Business correspondence centers. He has been instrumental in developing sanitation financing in Bihar and has financed over 5000 families for sanitation.

Mr. Anshu Kumar
(Head Alternate Business)

Mr. Anshu Kumar, MBA Marketing from Bundelkhand University, started his career in CDOT some 5 years back has worked with MIS and hardware maintenance. He has worked in DDUGKY and PMJJY. Currently he is heading 10 centers of computer skilling for rural and urban youth under Bihar Skill Development Mission. He has been instrumental in training over 10000 youth in computer skill.

Mr. Ashish Sinha
(Information Technology)

Mr. ASHISH has done B.E from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum (KARNATAKA) in Information Science and Engineering (ISE) and has 4 years of working experience in software design and development industry. Previously he has worked with a lot of start ups and currently at CDOT he is heading the IT Department and he has been instrumental in developing and deploying various banking monitoring tools of CDOT.

Ms. Prateeksha Sharma
(Program Officer-Training & Skill Development)

Ms Prateeksha Sharma is Double M.A. in two streams 1) Masters in English literature & Social work from Patna Women's college, Patna University and IGNOU. She has 6 years plus experience in the development sector training the women teachers and school children of Bihar government on various teaching learning aspects. She has been part of training programs for East and west education society, Care India, UNICEF, Quest alliance and Bal Bhawan Bihar. She has also been a researcher and Documentation officer on projects of Gender Resource Centre Women Development Corporation, Bihar on women health and education of females in Bihar, Girl Child literacy project by Participatory research In Asia and ADRI. She also is a writer and creative professional and has worked in shows of Star India Pvt Ltd Mumbai for three years as creative head. Currently at CDOT she is looking into various skill and training programs offered by CDOT

(Financial Inclusion)

Mr. Prem Prakash, B.A, having more than 15 Years of experience in Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion projects. He is working in financial inclusion area since the concept came to India and different banks started working on it. He has experience on total evolution of financial inclusion in India. His major role is liaison with banks overseeing the operation. He looks after 5 states and over 1500 BC centers.

Mr. Tanveer is an engineer by qualification, he has done his B.E from Magadha University in Electronics and Communication. He has 3 years of working experience with various firms and has very great experience of working with large team and currently at CDOT he is coordinating Financial Inclusion department.

Mr. Mazhar Musarrat
(Data Analyst)

Mr. Mazhar Musarrat, is B.A. LLB and working since last 5 years with CDOT. He has been pioneering in developing system on excel to monitor the BC agent network. He works on multiple software system of Banks and develop data for daily and monthly monitoring. His area main area of operation is data analysis, developing invoices and reporting to management.
