Building the capacity of frontline teams for a healthier community tomorrow
This week, CDOT’s WECARE team conducted Module Training sessions for our Community Health Facilitators (CHFs) in Bokaro, Hazaribagh and Dhanbad districts of Jharkhand, led by the master trainer and Training & Development Officer, Mrs. Rashmi Verma. Our CHFs are the vital link between the rural communities and the larger health system of the country. Through training on newborn care, pregnancy, adolescent health, and a healthy adult lifestyle, we aim to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to create meaningful change at the grassroots level.
As CDOT’s frontline representatives, they work closely with families and communities to promote health awareness, encourage healthy practices, and connect people with appropriate health services. With strong coordination with the health system and frontline health workers, our CHFs work to spread health awareness, encourage informed choices, and promote healthy lifestyles across every stage of life.
